An impressive addition to the veggie garden, rainbow chard has striking red, white and yellow stems with deep green foliage.
Sow seed 12mm deep; Plant spacing at 15 to 30 cm apart; Rows at 50cm apart; Germination period between 10-14 days; Soil temperatures between 10˚C and 30˚C; Harvest time approx. 7-12 weeks
Silverbeet grows in most soil types. For best results add compost or well-rotted manure to the garden bed. A cut and come-up again crop, continual harvest will keep the plant producing.
