Collard Greens

Collard greens are a leafy, green vegetable. A heat tolerant substitute for kale and cabbage.
Sow 5mm deep; Plant spacing at 40-50cm;
Germination period 4 to 7 days; Soil temperatures between 8˚C and 30˚C;
Harvest time approx. 8-11 weeks.
Collards should be planted in full sun. Plant in moist, fertile soil.
Companion plants - dwarf bush beans, beets, celery, cucumber, onions and herbs.
