Sow direct, cover lightly with fine soil; Plant spacing at 20cm apart; Germination period between 16-20 days; Soil temperatures between 18˚C and 25˚C; Harvest time approx. 6-8 weeks.
Oregano is a perennial that likes to be well watered. A very small seed that will not germinate if too deeply in the soil. Best results are obtained in full sun and moist conditions. Once grown, cut the stems back to promote growth. Easily propagated from root division once established.
