Parsley – Giant of Italy (Flat Leaf)
This heirloom parsley, Giant of Italy, has the classic Mediterranean parsley flavour. A robust parsley that is possibly the most popular for culinary dishes for both its flavour and texture.
Sow 12mm deep; Plant spacing at 22-30cm; Germination period 3 to 5 weeks; Soil temperatures between 10˚C and 30˚C; Harvest time approx. 9-19 weeks.
Parsley is an easy to grow herb. Sow direct or in seed trays, or broadcast seeds across the garden bed and water in. Parsley tolerates poor soils, and will grow in either full sun or part shade. Parsley, will self-seed and produce plenty of plants the following year.
