Spinach – Perpetual

Perpetual spinach is the spinach that keeps on giving. The baby spinach leaves can be eaten in salads or cooked, and its mature leaves will grow large and green with a green stalk, and can be used in a multitude of dishes. Once this spinach goes to seed in your garden, you will never have to buy spinach again!

Sow 12cm deep; Plant spacing at 20-30cm; Germination period up to 3 weeks; Soil temperatures between 10˚C and 25˚C; Harvest time approx. 5-11 weeks.

Sow spinach direct into the garden bed. Tolerates full sun or part shade. Needs consistent moisture and will quickly run to seed in warm weather. For best results, plant in well-drained, fertile soil, rich in organic matter.
