Tomato - Black Plum

A pendulous tomato with a maroon hue and dusky green shoulders, grows to roughly 2 inches. A prolific and hearty indeterminate tomato.

Sow 6mm deep; Plant spacing at 40-60cm apart; Germination period between 6-12 days; Soil temperatures between 16˚C and 35˚C; Harvest time approx. 8-17 weeks.

Black plum are an indeterminate tomato.  This means they have large vines that that yield well. They are best supported with stakes or else will sprawl across the garden. Tomatoes need a long growing season and are best started indoors in seed trays 6 to 8 weeks before planting out. They require full sun, well-drained, fertile soil high in organic matter. Tomatoes perform best with consistent watering.
