Romanesco broccoli is perhaps the most impressive vegetable you can grow. Its lime green hue and spiraling fractals are truly impressive, providing wondeful texture and a delicious flavour.
Broccoli can be sown direct or in seedling trays. For best results, add compost or well-rotted manure before planting. If sown in trays, transplant seedlings at 4-6 weeks old. Seedlings need to be well watered or else they will bolt to seed. Cut mature broccoli head off with a knife, additional flower heads will grow as side shoots.
