Yellow Pear tomatoes are a lovely, low acidic pear shaped cherry tomato. Yellow Pear, like most heirloom tomatoes, are of the indeterminate type. This means they will continue to grow a main stem until it is killed by frost. They are best supported with stakes or else will sprawl across the garden. Tomatoes need a long growing season and are best started indoors in seed trays 6 to 8 weeks before planting out. They require full sun, well-drained, fertile soil high in organic matter. Tomatoes perform best with consistent watering.
Good companion plants – basil, carrot, celery, chives and parsley
